DOWNTOWN CEDAR RAPIDS
Party on the Island & RAGBRAI’s 40th Celebration featuring Counting Crows
Second and Third Avenue bridges, 4:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Come party with the Cedar Rapids community and RAGBRAI as they celebrate 40 years of the RAGBRAI experience with live music, food, beverages, and a special concert featuring Counting Crows. We Are Augustines, Kasey Anderson and The Honkeys, and Field Report will also be included in the concert as opening acts for Counting Crows on the Alliant Energy/Linn County Island Stage. A second downtown venue stage, TikiTorch Stage, will feature Chad Elliott and Bonita Crowe, blues and folk musicians, at 4:30, and Adobanga, an alternative group, at 5:30 p.m. The concert venue also includes the Beverage Garden where attendees ages 21 and older can purchase wristbands to enjoy a variety of drinks. The concert is free to registered week-long riders/non-riders and riders with a Thursday wristband. This 40th Anniversary celebration will commemorate RAGBRAI, one of the most well-known bike tours in the world, as well as the communities and Iowans who have made 40 years possible.

Tickets can be purchased at the Theatre Cedar Rapids box office, located at 102 3rd Street SE, or online at www.TheatreCR.org/RAGBRAI. The box office has expanded its hours over the next few days -10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 25 and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 26. Tickets can be purchased at the gate at these entrances only: 2nd Avenue W or 1st Street E.
Rockwell Collins Outplay Island Kids Zone
Greene Square Park, 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Bring the entire family out to enjoy free live music and dancing throughout the day. Performances from storyteller Darrin Crow, MovMent Dance Co., Jugglers, TCR Camp Rock Disney Dancers, live music and more! Funny Face Design by Lori and Papa Balloon will be onsite providing face painting and balloons to the kids. Outplay Island will have bouncy inflatables/rock climbing area, food and beverage, Outplay Island photo booth, Tiki Toss and many more activities available! It is free to all families.

General Mills Kids Cove Bike Safety
Cedar Rapids Museum of Art parking lot, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
The General Mills Kid’s Cove Bike Safety event will be held across the street from Greene Square Park in the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art parking lot. Members of the Linn County Safe Kids Coalition will be there distributing bicycle helmets and safety information to kids. The helmets are free and safety professionals will be there to fit the helmet on each child’s head.

VETERANS MEMORIAL STADIUM
Relax at Veterans Memorial Stadium, home of the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The Kernels will be on the road, but will be broadcasting baseball games throughout the afternoon and have their inflatables up and running for the kids ages 12 and under from 5 – 8 p.m. Inflatables will be $1 per ride or $10 for unlimited. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. enjoy the classic baseball movie, Field of Dreams. Concessions will be open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

CZECH VILLAGE / NEW BOHEMIA
As bikers exit Cedar Rapids they are invited to enjoy a farewell breakfast in the beautiful Czech Village/New Bohemia District. Vendors and businesses will offer a variety of breakfast foods and beverages, and seating will be available, along with water and assistance from RAGBRAI volunteers.
